An amazing array of Ukrainian talent will join forces to perform under the Christmas tree to raise funds for internally displaced children from Donbas who dream about spending their next Christmas in a place that they can call home: the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral Choir “Promin Nadii” , the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Choir, Pasicznyk Family, the Ukrainian Bandurist Trio ‘Zhayvir”.

Money raised during this fundraising event will go towards the Radisne hostel renovation in the Odesa region. It was built during the Soviet era and needs a major overhaul to make it suitable for habitation. We hope that in 2017 it will become home for 51 families.

British-Ukrainian Aid has already covered the cost of the roof repairs (stage 1 of the project) and are presently funding the installation of 28 doors (stage 2 of the project).

To complete the next stage of the renovation – replacing the windows in the hostel – it is necessary to raise funds towards the £10,382.70 (337,010.00 Ukrainian hryvnas). Once the doors and windows are in place, the building will be warm enough for builders to continue their work indoors during the winter months.
