British-Ukrainian Aid is delighted to announce its first annual lecture ‘Assisting Ukraine in Times of Armed Conflict’ by General Sir Richard Shirreff. The lecture is hosted by Sir Gerald Howard MP at 12:00-13:00 on Thursday 26th January 2017 at the House of Commons, committee room 6.

This lecture will be co-organised by the Henry Jackson Society and was pre-announced at the BUAid Inaugural Reception in the House of Commons on 2nd November 2016 when General Sir Richard Shirreff (former Deputy Commander of NATO Forces in Europe) emphasised the need for the West to shake off its complacency.

The event aims at raising awareness about the scale of the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine and reaching out to a wider audience in the UK.
