UNDERSTANDING UKRAINE’S HISTORY,
CULTURE & SOCIETY

We bring together a group of stakeholders, including civil society leaders, army strategists, academics, journalists and artists to examine Ukraine’s complex history, rich cultural tradition and fluid internal dynamics.

THE INJURED & WOUNDED

Since the Russian invasion started in February 2014, thousands of Ukrainians became disabled. Hundreds of them had to get parts of their bodies amputated. We deliver tactical medicine, equipment and ambulances to assist with rescue and relief operations, reduce mortality and life-changing traumas, and help with rehabilitation care.

CHILDREN, ELDERLY & THE DISPLACED

The life of civilians has been severely affected. Many innocent Ukrainians were killed, tortured and injured, including children and the elderly. At least 12 million people have fled their homes, and 1.6 million Ukrainian citizens, including 260,000 children, were deported from their homes to Russia – often to isolated regions in the Far East. We raise the awareness and provide medical and humanitarian aid to alleviate the suffering of the war victims.

HOW CAN YOU
HELP?

British-Ukrainian Aid have partnered with TfL to deliver scrappage scheme vehicles to Ukraine for humanitarian and medical purposes

Help fund transportation of ULEZ scrappage scheme vehicles

Vehicles are vital for saving lives during the war.

In Ukraine, hundreds of them are destroyed daily, and there is an urgent need for more.

We have partnered with TfL to transfer vehicles donated via the ULEZ scrappage scheme to Ukraine for humanitarian and medical use.

On average, it costs £800 to deliver a vehicle to Ukraine so by donating, you will be helping us to get these vehicles to where they are needed the most.

With your kind support, we can help save more lives!

How You Can Help Us Win a Donation by Voting In the Discount Promo Codes Poll

This September you can help British-Ukrainian Aid to win a donation by casting your free vote in the Discount Promo Codes charity poll.

Who Are Discount Promo Codes?

Discount Promo Codes are a UK company who provide customers with discount codes so they can save money on their online shopping. This includes offers such as free delivery at Debenhams, 3 for 2 at Tesco or or Kids Go Free at Thomas Cook. These offers are a great way to get money off your essentials and more – but with Discount Promo Codes you can save money whilst raising money for charity!
This is because every month they nominate three charities to take part in their charity poll. Throughout the month, visitors to their site can vote for the charity they want to win. At the end of the month, the charity with the most votes wins a donation of 20% of their profits for the month! So far they have donated over £62,000 to a variety of good causes.

How Do I Vote in the Poll?

Voting in the poll is fast, free and easy. All you need to do is:

You do not need to sign up or use any vouchers in order to vote, however every voucher used does contribute to the final amount donated to the winning charity. Everyone gets one vote – so don’t forget to cast it when the poll is live between 1st September and the 30th September!
